Granted. Guild Wars 2 stayed PC only. Guild Wars 3 is confirmed for PlayStation 5 alongside PC and Steam, the first Guild Wars on a home console.

Granted. The combat is built from the start for both controller and keyboard, with action RPG fighting layered over Guild Wars build making.

Granted in spirit. The momentum system lets you glide, ride, leap, and wall run, and carries your speed between them. How it feels in hand is still to be tested.

A fresh start with a clear setting

Granted. The game is set in Orr over a thousand years before the original Guild Wars, a clean entry point that still ties into Tyria.

Open. Homestead arrived late in Guild Wars 2. ArenaNet has not said whether housing is part of Guild Wars 3.
