ArenaNet announced Guild Wars 3 on June 5, 2026 at Summer Game Fest with a debut trailer. It is the studio’s first new Guild Wars game since Guild Wars 2 launched in 2012.

ArenaNet has not shared a launch date, pricing, the profession or class list, the game engine, or how much of Guild Wars 2 lore carries forward.
